14'' Round Brown Leather Storage Ottoman

Leather storage ottoman is a versatile furniture piece that blends comfort, style, and practicality. These items are designed not only to enhance the look of your home but also to offer smart storage solutions for everyday living.

These pieces are especially popular in living rooms, bedrooms, or entryways, where extra seating and hidden storage are always appreciated. Inside, you can keep everyday items such as blankets, pillows, books, or children’s toys neatly tucked away. The lid—often cushioned—can be lifted or hinged open, making access quick and easy.

The charm of a leather storage ottoman lies in its quiet functionality. It might serve as a footrest, a coffee table, or an extra seat when guests arrive. But more than that, it helps keep your space clean and organized—without compromising on style.

A well-chosen leather storage ottoman adds both beauty and function to your home, making everyday living a little more thoughtful, and a little more comfortable.

How to Reupholster a Leather Storage Ottoman?

Materials & Tools You’ll Need:
New upholstery material (leather, faux leather, velvet, boucle or linen)

Staple gun with staples

Upholstery foam (if the old foam is worn out)

Batting (optional, for extra cushioning)

Scissors or utility knife

Flathead screwdriver or staple remover

Measuring tape

Screwdriver or drill (to remove legs/hardware if needed)

Spray adhesive (optional)

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Remove the Old Upholstery
Open the ottoman and unscrew or detach any legs or hardware.

Use a flathead screwdriver or staple remover to pull out the staples holding the old leather.

Remove the fabric carefully to avoid damaging the wood structure underneath.

2. Inspect and Replace Foam (if needed)
If the foam is damaged or compressed, remove it.

Cut new foam to size and secure it to the ottoman with spray adhesive.

Add batting over the foam for a smoother, softer finish (optional).

3. Measure and Cut New Upholstery
Measure each side of the ottoman, adding 2–4 inches extra on each edge to wrap around and staple underneath.

Cut your new material accordingly.

4. Attach New Upholstery
Start with one side: pull the fabric tightly over the edge and staple it underneath, starting in the center and working out toward the corners.

Repeat for the opposite side, keeping the material tight and smooth.

Tuck the corners neatly and staple securely.

5. Reassemble the Ottoman
Trim excess fabric if needed.

Reattach any legs, hinges, or hardware.

Clean and smooth out any wrinkles in the material.
Tips:
Use upholstery-grade materials for durability.

For leather, keep it taut to avoid wrinkles but don’t overstretch—it can tear.

Consider adding decorative nailhead trim or buttons for a professional touch.
